About
Welcome. We're a local congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spanish Fork, Utah.
Who we are
We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes called Mormons, and we are followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the Savior of the world, that the Bible is the word of God, and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. We try our best to live the way He taught — with love for God and for our neighbors.
What happens on Sunday
Each Sunday we hold a two-hour worship service called the Sunday block:
- Sacrament Meeting (60 minutes) — congregational singing, prayer, and the sacrament of bread and water in remembrance of Jesus Christ. Members and visiting speakers share short messages from the scriptures.
- Second Hour (50 minutes) — alternates each Sunday between Sunday School (gospel study together) and meetings of Relief Society, Elders Quorum, Young Women, Young Men, and Primary for children.
Visitors are always welcome
You don't need to be a member, register ahead of time, or wear anything in particular. Many people wear "Sunday best," but come however you're comfortable. Come early or on time — we'll save you a seat. There's no cost, no pressure, and no expectation that you do or say anything in particular while you're here.
If you'd like someone from the ward to greet you when you arrive — or if you have any questions about what to expect — fill out the form below and we'll be in touch.
